Liz Kufour is a first-year law student at Emory University School of Law, where she serves as the 1L Representative for both the Black Law Student Association and the Emory Public Interest Committee (EPIC), and participates in the BLSA Mock Trial Team. As a law student, she continues to pursue her passion for combining legal advocacy with community empowerment. Her commitment to public service is demonstrated through her ongoing pro bono work with both the Safety Valve Project, where she conducts legal research on school disciplinary procedures, and the Volunteer Clinic for Veterans, where she assists with veterans' benefits claims and advance directives. Previously, she organized monthly feeding projects in Austin, providing essential items like rain ponchos, hand warmers, and wet wipes alongside regular food distribution. Liz holds dual degrees from The University of Texas at Austin - a Bachelor of Arts in African and African Diaspora Studies and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.
